We build search that actually works.
Seekmodo is the AI-search and agent-ready platform from Numinix — the team behind Lexmodo and a decade of search work for stores, knowledge bases, and content sites on the open web. Built once, available to every site.
Where Seekmodo came from
We've spent years running stores, blogs, and support sites for the open web. Every site we touched ended up duplicating the same plumbing: a fast search index, a fallback path for when search is down, and eventually a way to expose the content to AI assistants without scraping our own HTML.
We extracted that plumbing into one platform. Today Seekmodo powers stores, knowledge bases, and content sites alike — on the same engine, the same editorial rules, and the same uptime guarantee we run our own business on.
What we believe about search
Search is your highest-intent traffic. Anyone typing into your search box is two clicks from finding what they came for, or two clicks from leaving for a competitor. The job of a search platform is to make sure they end up on your page — not somebody else's.
That means: results have to be fast (under a second, every time), forgiving (typos, slang, intent), self-improving (every click should make the next search better), editable (your team should be able to pin top results without filing a ticket), and resilient (when anything goes wrong, the search bar still works).
And in 2026, it means one more thing: your content should be one prompt away from any AI assistant your visitors happen to use. ChatGPT, Claude, your support copilot, the agent your biggest customer's IT department wires up — all of them should be able to ask your site the same questions a visitor would, and get the same curated answers. That's why every Seekmodo plan ships an AI-agent endpoint by default.
How we work.
Three principles that show up in everything we ship.
Open by default
We started Seekmodo because every site we touched re-built the same search plumbing. Our connectors are open-source, our pricing is public, and our roadmap is in the open.
Visitors first
Search has to actually work for the person typing in the box. Fast results, clean fallback, and editorial controls a non-developer can operate. No black box, no API gymnastics.
Honest about limits
We tell you when something ships, when something doesn't, and what we'd recommend if we weren't the right fit. Trust scales further than features.
